I’ve done business for a long time with Kate, she’s been a client of mine for almost two years. I wanted to return the love as I have before and asked her to make a new logo, business contract, cards and webpage for a new business venture. I paid her over $665 for logo, cards, and webpage. I’m out $665 and have nothing to show for. When I asked her for the log in info she told me, and repeat word for word, “figure it out for yourself loser.” We were shocked. I would be VERY weary and cautious doing any work with Kate. If you do want to, I would make sure you have ALL service completed and done and to you before paying. We will be moving forward in small claims and then working with someone more professional and experienced. I have all square space receipts as well as screen shots of our messages if there is anyone wondering what dialogue with her looks like and how it all goes down. I’ve since then found a couple amazing graphic/web designers in Bend and will gladly also pass their info along.
