We wanted to create a web app to deliver hardware-demanding content to users using GPUs in the cloud delivered to the browser. this needed to be scalable i.e., unique sessions would operate for each user. Here, the major challenge was setting up a system in which GPU docker containers could be multiplied on demand. Overall, we wanted the web app to work smoothly and respond fast and create seamless experiences. This required a various expertise and access to impeccable servers for sharp performance. Ekkel AI proved to us that they had the in-house capabilities to manage our work. They shared an amicable timeline and provided a unique solution with AWS to set up expandable GPU containers. Ekkel understood that the solution we wanted to create would have multiple applications. In our solution, users would be allowed to engage with GPU-heavy experiences in their browsers using the cloud. We had multiple use cases for this in mind therefore it needed to be versatile. Each user would experience this in a unique session, rather than a shared space for all users. The web app was created using NodeJS and HTML, both technologies that Ekkel displayed expertise in. The experience was rendered and operated using Unreal Engine, which made the project cutting edge thanks to the powerful technology of Unreal Engine. Ekkel also came up with a unique solution for our GPU usage within AWS servers, so we were able to host this service over the cloud with a managed cost. Ekkel also used Socket and WebRTC to establish connection externally and internally for the platform. We have worked with 4 people from the Ekkel team. Ahsan, the CEO of the company, has been part of the work from the start and has helped by monitoring the project’s progress and ensuring his team works as needed. Ekkel ensured that the solution perfomed well, and users were able to engage with the experience intuitively. The interface of the web app was easy to understand and had impressive loading speeds. Meetings occurred often with the resources to discuss updates in work and future plans. Ahsan, the CEO, and marketing representative join when we take on a new project or additional work to remain updated and ensure quality of work. We had an NFT marketplace idea which involved a rare combination of AI and Web3 technologies. We were looking for a service provider who specialized in both and we needed a passionate company who could deliver on both technologies without us having to manage hiring of two companies and indivindividual companies with different service lines. This was way before the revolution of StableDiffusion came in the picture and in the times when Dall-E was still an announcement without API access. They also developed an NFT marketplace which could take the generated artwork and mint collections. The product also had auctions, secondary auctions, voting mechanisms and more. Ekkel allocated about 10 people from their company to our project. Ahsan, the CEO of the company took personal interest in the project and monitored progress. Other than that, I was introduced with technical team lead, AI team lead and design team along with project management layer which ensured execution. Our understanding is that people needed to use smarter words, sentences and highlight the proper information to make their resumes stand out. Our goal was also to incorporate the right usage of every individual’s pronouns, making our product more inclusive and encouraging change. Ekkel was highly experienced in AI-based work. This was an important factor for us as we did not possess knowledge about AI. Ekkel’s work with NLP was also known, so they seemed like the most suitable choice for our resume building web app. They also possessed the skills to create web applications, and some of them looking visually striking. So it was an added bonus to create not only a great tool but also one that looked good. Ekkel was tasked to give us the complete web application with the AI component that would assist in creating, editing, and proof reading resumes for our users. The tool needed to be specialized for the most popular industries and offer insights based on the industry someone was applying to. The AI component was GPT-3, but we wanted the responses to be very different for each user to avoid plagiarism or repetitiveness. The steps included back-end development (creating a database and enabling scalable deployment). Following that we needed front-end development all the way from the general design to the interface details. The deployment of our Web App was done on AWS Lambda.
